Situated at the intersection of art and geography, my practice centres on sensory ethnography and creative critical modes of academic writing. Research interests include sound, surface, illumination, darkness, and affective atmospheres, with a particular focus on seaside place and culture.
I utilise auto-ethnographic research methods, considering and communicating visual, spatial and audio findings gathered via returned visits, lens based media, sound recording and site-writing.
